County Meath in Song

The memory behind Meath in Song

County Meath is one of Ireland’s great memory landscapes, connected with ancient sites, old kingdoms, the Boyne, roads, fields and growing modern towns. It holds both deep past and busy present, often side by side.

In Ireland in Song, Meath can become a county of ancient nearness. Its songs may look at Navan, Ashbourne, Trim, the Boyne valley, family life, commuter towns and older sacred landscapes. The tone should be grounded, spacious and quietly noble.
