County Leitrim in Song

County Memory

The memory behind Leitrim in Song

County Leitrim is small, green and often quiet, with lakes, rivers, hills, villages and a gentle inland-western feeling. It is a county where small places matter and where silence can become part of the song.

In Ireland in Song, Leitrim can become a county of hidden beauty. Its songs may speak of narrow roads, water, fields, family memory, small communities, prayer and the dignity of places that are easy to overlook. The tone should be intimate and reflective.
